FIELD: ophthalmology, designed for determination of mobility of ocular prosthesis in patients with anophthalmus in different times after operation. SUBSTANCE: method is based on measurement of mobility of ocular prosthesis over four main meridians. Used for measurement is indicating needle on sucker attached directly to ocular prosthesis. First, projection of center of rotation of ocular prosthesis is determined on temporal region, then length of rotation axis of ocular prosthesis is determined. After it, maximum deviation of ocular prosthesis in four main meridians is measured. Angles of maximum deviation of ocular prosthesis are calculated by offered formula. After measurement of mobility of ocular prosthesis in 118 patients, it may consider that obtained results highly accurate with errors reduced to minimum. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method due to its high accuracy, simplicity in its realization and availability without complicated expensive equipment and special preparation of patients. 2 dwg, 2 ex
