FIELD: production of catalysts. SUBSTANCE: proposed new catalyst includes pasty binary metallocyanide compound, organic complexing agent and water. It is suitable for production of epoxy polymers. Composition of pasty catalyst includes as minimum about 90% of (mass) particles whose sizes range from 0.1 to 10 mkm according to results of measurement of light scattering in polyester polylo dispersions of catalyst particles. Preferable catalysts have bimodal granulometric composition. Pasty catalyst is more active and easy in production as compared with powder-like catalyst. Posses lower degrees of nonsaturation, low viscosity and narrow limits of molecular mass distribution; besides that, they are suitable for production of many polyurethane products.
