FIELD: polymer production and polymerization catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention provides improved process of catalyzed polymerization of epoxide, in which starting agent is added in the beginning of polymerization process and is further continuously added during the process. The latter represents at least about 2 equivalent % of the total volume of starting agent utilized. In this process, water and low-molecular polyol starting agents can be employed. In addition, polyether-polyols are formed having lowered levels of tail polyol fraction with high molecular mass, which can produce negative effect on processing characteristics of polyurethane foam.
