FIELD: methods of production of dual-function metallocyanide catalysts for polymerization of epoxy compounds. SUBSTANCE: method of production in essence of noncrystalline dual-function metallocyanide catalysts possessing high activity and improved characteristics. Method includes reaction of aqueous solution of metal salt with aqueous solution of metal cyanide in presence of organic complexing agent. Aqueous solution of metal salt is prepared with regulation of its alkalinity from 0.2 to 2.0 wt.% in terms of metal oxide relative to amount of metal salt. Properties of polyol, for instance, viscosity and degree of nonsaturation are improved in case of perspective regulation of alkalinity of said metal salt used for production of dual-function metallocyanide catalysts. Method makes it possible to utilize advantages in essence of noncrystalline dual-function metallocyanide catalyst even in cases of use for production of catalyst of relatively low-cost commercially pure metal salts.
