FIELD: deposition of metal polymers. SUBSTANCE: process of dressing of defects in article includes conditioning of surface around zone of defect and deposition of two layers of metal polymer Germetal-1. Novelty of process lies in preliminary formation of plug from soft porous material with through pores with dimensions identical to those of defect, in impregnation of plug with metal polymer Germetal-1, in placement of plug on to conditioned zone of defect flush with outer surface of article for length of service life of article and in curing of zone up to complete hardening of metal polymer Germetal- 1. Then two layers of Germetal-1 are deposited on plug and conditioned surface around it. Utilization of proposed process makes it feasible to dress through defects with size of 15 mm and under in articles working in range of operational pressures and to obtain reliable leak-tight system. EFFECT: simplicity of process requiring no additional equipment.
