FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves studying neutrophil quantity in peripheral blood and phagocytic index is calculated with Staphylococcus aureus being used, phagocytosis completeness and adsorption capacity are determined. Monocyte macrophages in peripheral blood and Fcyreceptors and lysosomas are studied. Phagocytic index being found to be > 65%, phagocytosis completeness > 15%, Fcy-receptors <5%, regressive tuberculosis process is to be predicted. Phagocytic index being found to be =55-65%, phagocytosis completeness = 10-15%, and adsorption capacity =8-10, tuberculosis process stabilization is to be predicted. Phagocytic index being found to be <55%, phagocytosis completeness <10%, and lysosomas > 35%, progressive tuberculosis process is to be predicted. EFFECT: high reliability and accuracy of prognosis. 4 tbl
