FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pulmonology, and can be used to predict the course of respiratory sarcoidosis by the morphological structure of granuloma. That is ensured by morphological examination of lung and intramammary lymph nodes. Biopsy material is used to examine the quantitative composition of an inflammatory infiltrate by visual microscopy. Total number of cells in percentage (%) is calculated in 10 fields of vision at ×100-fold increase. If macrophages are <70 % in f/vision, lymphocytes >28 % in f/vision and lymphocyte-macrophage index >0.38, a favorable course of respiratory sarcoidosis is predicted. If macrophages >81 %, lymphocytes <15 % and lymphocyte-macrophage index <0.18, unfavorable course of sarcoidosis is predicted.
EFFECT: invention enables developing an individual therapeutic approach for each patient with an unfavorable prognosis of the pulmonary sarcoidosis.
