FIELD: medicine; creation of computer models of biologic objects. SUBSTANCE: method includes placement of biologic object, namely pathobiologic preparation, in space and its locking in position by means of potting material. Space is confined inside three-dimensional figure such as tetrahedron to form specimen. The latter is cut into layers to form slices suited to morphological analyses. Slices are parallel planes made according to specified algorithm. Images of each morphological slice are obtained in digital expressions. Digital expressions obtained in this way are entered in computer to obtain three- dimensional virtual images of respective layers. Source object in the form of its virtual model is reconstructed by alignment of three-dimensional images of slices using algorithm similar to that employed for slicing.
