SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to a method for determining the area of ​​anatomical regions and departments with complex relief. First, a “zone of interest” with a complex relief is determined in the patient, on which it is planned to calculate the surface area. Next, the “zone of interest” is photographed with an optical digital camera to obtain a sufficient number of digital photographs from the maximum number of available angles, having previously placed a template in the form of a flat equilateral triangle with predetermined dimensions necessary for scaling the obtained digital photographs next to the “zone of interest”. Photographing is carried out by placing the "zone of interest" in the base of the hemisphere formed by meridians located every 30 degrees relative to each other, filming the "zone of interest" along the meridian every 30 degrees. In the process of taking pictures, the camera should have the same shutter speed, ISO, aperture and focal length. Then the obtained photographs are processed in the program for the reconstruction of the 3D model and a virtual 3D model is obtained, reproducing the relief of the "zone of interest" and providing the calculation of the surface area taking into account the relief surface.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a contactless method of reproduction and subsequent determination of the surface area of ​​the anatomical region, taking into account the complex relief.
