FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to ophthalmology and, in particular, to virtual endoscopic diagnostic techniques in orbital pathology. Object of the invention - creating a method of virtual endoscopic diagnostic pathology orbit, thus enhancing capabilities of post processing transformations in three-dimensional imaging of orbit by manual segmentation of close in density structures. Said technical result can be obtained, if in the method of virtual endoscopic diagnostic pathology orbit, consisting in creation of post processing protocol with 4D video recording of orbit endoscopy, for creation of which is carried out spiral computed tomography of facial bones and based on obtained result construct 3-dimensional model of the orbital cavity and separately manually separate 3D models of intraorbital structures: an eyeball, optic nerve, straight and skewed oculomotor muscles, tumours and cysts in the presence of, for this purpose is carried out separation of each of these structures based on selection of the range of density (with respect to x-rays) with further manual correction of borders in 2 projections, cutting the erroneously selected in the range of structure density, further, constructing a three-dimensional model for each of them with colour marking, after that all received three-dimensional models are inserted in 3-dimensional pseudo endoscopic model cavity, the degree of transparency of the bone structures dynamically vary from 75-100 %, and based on this construct a dynamic model of the orbital cavity and intraorbital structures in 4D mode, note here that forming is performed in the 3D polar coordinate system with a conical field of view, by moving the vertex of cone in the 3D model of the orbital cavity and outside with successive display of all intraorbital structures, note that the angle of view is 90°, then fixed video on DVD, and the protocol of virtual orbite endoscopy including view of intraorbital structures with views, located outside the orbit.

EFFECT: technical result - the method enables in the non-invasive way in 3-dimensional mode to carry out inspection of all structures of the orbit, evaluating the relationship of intraorbital structures with all aspects that, as a result, allows the surgeon to choose the optimal and effective tactic of surgical intervention.
