FIELD: welding production, namely, devices for exciting and stabilizing electric arc burning at manual argon arc welding of aluminium and its alloys by means of non-melting electrode. SUBSTANCE: pulse transformer 2 has high voltage secondary windings 4,5. Discharge circuit includes accumulating capacitor 6, thyristor 7 and primary winding 3 of pulse transformer 2. Secondary high voltage winding 4 of pulse transformer 2 is connected to welding circuit. Charging unit includes high voltage oscillation circuit 8 having connected in parallel capacitor 9 and inductor 10, discharger 11, blocking capacitor 12 and high voltage accumulating capacitor 13. The last through discharger 11 is connected in parallel with high voltage oscillating circuit 8 which is connected in series with power source 1 of electric arc and in parallel with first high voltage secondary winding 4. Discharger 11 is connected in series with second high voltage secondary winding 5 connected in parallel through blocking capacitor 12 with power source 1. Charging unit also includes additional direct-current circuit for igniting arc having accumulating capacitor and charging-discharging circuits, each includes diode and resistor. Apparatus features low mass and size, provides safety operation for welding operator and needs lowered labor consumption. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability of apparatus. 2 cl, 2 dwg
