Abstract RU 2103125 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; ac arc welding. SUBSTANCE: device has inlet contact for connecting to arc supply source and outlet contacts. Switching rechargeable capacitor is connected to inlet contacts through semiconductor threshold circuit switches. Voltage across capacitor is limited by circuit consisting of symmetrical voltage stabilizing diode and resistor. Exciting pulse shaping circuit is placed between switching capacitor and outlet contacts. Choke is connected between inlet and outlet contacts. Striker can be furnished with additional LC-filter and arc boosting circuit with resistor and capacitor whose capacitance is less than that of switching capacitor.
