FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in regulation of fluid flow rate in pipelines and storage tanks and for cutting-off fluid flow under emergency situations. SUBSTANCE: device includes body accommodating cylinder with working piston forming receiving and internal cavities. Flow areas of shutoff unit are made in the form of longitudinal slots in cylinder wall and piston. Sizes of longitudinal slots are regulated. Rod is made in the form of spring force adjustable screw located inside working piston. Outlet line of device is connected by steel pipe with internal cavity of working piston and located at an angle relative to inlet line, preferably, amounting to 90 deg. Device is adjusted on test stand. Flow area is varied by fluid pressure and spring compensation force. Use is also made of additionally permissible pressure differential in capacity of spring compensating force. EFFECT: extended functional capability of device and its simplified design. 3 cl, 1 dwg
