FIELD: oil production equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive includes electric drive, system for conversion of rotary motion to reciprocating motion which is connected with pump, accumulator for recovery of energy during downward motion of pump, and flexible coupling connecting all components of drive with pump. System for converting rotary motion to reciprocating motion is made in form of chain drive including sprockets located one above another in one vertical with bush-and-roller chain tightened on them. One side strand is articulated with pump. Sprockets are secured on one base which is movable horizontally with the aid of rack-and-gear transmission whose rack is secured stationary and gear is secured coaxially relative to sprocket and is set in rotation by means of chain through lever connected with gear. Accumulator is made in form of flywheel connected with system converting rotary motion to reciprocating motion through step-up reduction gear. Electric drive is made in form of adjustable servo motor whose control system is connected with system Converting rotary motion to reciprocating motion and output shaft is connected with flywheel. Energy accumulator includes flywheel with adjustable flywheel moment; flywheel moment changing mechanism is made in form of Archimedean spiral mounted coaxially relative to flywheel for rotation around axis. At least two weights are connected with Archimedean spiral which are movable radially in opposite directions relative to axis of rotation. EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced power intensity; enhanced reliability due to adjustable operating parameters of drive and pump. 4 cl, 2 dwg
