FIELD: drilling of oil and gas wells, control over drilling process with the help of analysis of productivity of drill with preset sizes and design. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of well with the help of drill beginning from initial point and ending in final point, and determination of distance between said points. Distance is divided into definite number of intervals. Method provides for formation of electrical signals of real force in interval each of which corresponds to force developed by drill on respective interval, and electrical signals within interval each of which corresponds to length of said interval. Combined processing of said electrical signals are used to form value corresponding to full volume of work performed by drill in process of drilling between initial and final points. Use of said method for analysis of productivity or performed volume of work allows also analysis of a number of other conditions of drilling and/or parameters of state of downcast wells.
