FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shears have hydraulic drive and cutting head formed as casing incorporating hydraulic cylinder with return spring and rod. Movable knife is fixed on rod. Bracket with immovable knife and stop are mounted on casing. Working part of movable knife is made wedge- shaped, with outer angle corresponding to inner angle of profile section. Immovable knife has slot for receiving working part of movable knife. Shears of such construction may be used for performing mounting or dismantling works in restricted space or under conditions of restricted access to objects.
