FLAT CHARGE AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION (MODIFICATIONS) Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: explosive charges designed for metal working by blast, and in perspective for destruction of rocks after successful development of machines for cutting of slots in the rocks. SUBSTANCE: the flat explosive charges have sheets or plates impregnated with liquid explosive of nitrogen tetroxide or liquid petroleum product in stoichiometric relation. The sheets and plates are made of low-density materials - foam plastic with open pores, mineral wool and placed in hermetically sealed shells in the form of flat bags. The charges of low mass consist of sheets of filter paper positioned on the inner surface of the flat bag and impregnated with liquid explosive. According to the other modification, the charge has sheets or filter boards, plates of wood and cellulose materials, foam plastic with a high volume mass in hermetically sealed shells in the form of flat bags impregnated with diazot tetroxide. In all modifications the charges turn to an explosive by combination of their components only before their use. EFFECT: produced charges in the form of non- explosive blanks that are safe in transportation and storage. 4 cl, 4 dwg
