FIELD: acoustics, generation of acoustic vibrations of high power. SUBSTANCE: source of acoustic radiation includes source of alternating electric signal and multilayer acoustic radiator. Odd layers of acoustic radiator are made of current-conducting material and even layers of it are produced from dielectric material, i-th layers are connected to first input terminal of acoustic radiator, where i=4(N+1/4), N=0, 1, 2, 3... and the rest of them made of current-conducting material are connected to second input terminal of acoustic radiator. In addition acoustic radiator has source of permanent electric displacement and adder of electric signals. Output of source of electric signal is connected to first input of adder of electric signals, output of adder of electric signals is connected to input of acoustic radiator. Even layers of acoustic radiator are fabricated from electrostrictive material.
