FIELD: well-type membrane units; manufacture of membrane filters for separation of liquid and gaseous media; cleaning of water and air; separation of blood at plasmapheresis, etc. SUBSTANCE: unit includes housing forming flow-through chamber and cavities for supply and accumulation of concentrate which are communicated with respective branch pipes, cover with filtrate cavity and respective branch pipe, membrane module in form of membrane folded in zigzag pattern; side edges of membrane are connected in pairs forming stack of parallel flat wells with flow-through passages between them; both surfaces of membrane have projecting separating members in form of alternating longitudinal strips oriented towards side edge of membrane at inclination. Membrane module is connected with mounting flange over perimeter on one side of bending of membrane; mounting flange has hole in central area for passage of filtrate; edges of mounting flange are located between flanges of housing and cover being connected. In manufacture of unit, zigzag folding of membrane tape is effected by means of flat pusher oriented across moving tapes of membrane and mounting flange; flat pusher deforms membrane tape in zigzag pattern periodically passing through hole of mounting flange; tape of mounting flange is used as transporting unit for ready membrane modules including transportation at stages of arranging ready membrane module in housing of unit and sealing-up the housing. For molding the wells and connecting the membrane with mounting flange, use is made of hot-melt adhesive. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 14 cl, 2 dwg
