FIELD: manufacture of membrane filters for separation of liquid and gaseous media; cleaning of air and water; separation of blood at plasmapheresis, etc. SUBSTANCE: unit has housing with chambers for supply and accumulation of concentrate which are communicated with respective branch pipes; well-type membrane module made in form of membrane and sorbing material folded in zigzag pattern; sorbing material is locked; projecting separating members found on membrane surface on side of flow-through passages are made in form of alternating strips oriented at inclination towards side edge of membrane. On one side of membrane bending, membrane module is connected with mounting flange over perimeter; this flange has hole in central area for passage of filtrate; edges of flange are located between flanges of housing and cover being connected. Cloth of sorbing material may contain several layers which may possess different sorption characteristics relative to filtrate. In manufacture of unit, zigzag folding of membrane tape and sorbing material cloth is effected by means of flat pusher oriented across moving membrane tapes and mounting flange; in passing holes of mounting flange, pusher deforms sorbing material cloth and membrane tape; mounting flange tape is used for transportation of ready membrane modules including transportation at stages of arranging ready membrane module in housing of unit and sealing-up the housing. For molding the wells and connecting the membrane module with mounting flange, use is made of hot-melt adhesive. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 21 cl, 6 dwg
