FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: hatch cover locking mechanism has spring hold-downs 1 installed for engagement with levers of covers and with hook-like brackets 4 secured on roof, locking tie-rod 5 with cross-bars installed in support brackets and vertical rod 8 for affixing the seal arranged on end face of roof for displacement. L-shaped cross-bars are installed in longitudinal vertical plane. Locking tie-rod providing engagement of cross-bars with levers of covers furnished with safety clamps is installed for longitudinal displacement and provided with antiturn device and device preventing longitudinal displacement of locking tie-rod mounted on vertical rod. Antiturn device is made in form of one guide rib and corresponding slot in support bracket. EFFECT: improved reliability. 2 cl, 5 dwg
