FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is preparation of aliphatic dicarboxylic C8,C10,C12 acid semiproducts for plasticizers, adhesives, varnishes and lubricants having useful service properties. Acyclic 1,2-diols with the same number of carbon atoms are oxidized with 15-80-% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide in organic solvent having diol concentration of 5-30% in solvent in the presence of sodium tungstate catalyst and trilon B stabilizer for 1-3 h at diol to hydrogen peroxide to sodium tungstate to trilon B molar ratio of 1:(4-20):(0.01-0.5):(0.001-0.01) and at sodium tungstate to trilon B weight ratio of 1:(0.03-0.02). Method makes it possible to synthesize aliphatic dicarboxylic acids with high degree of purity and yield of desired product of at least 96%. EFFECT: considerable reduction of synthesis time.
