FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily cleaning seeds by removing contaminants from seed heap; dividing cleaned seeds into two fractions; drying each fraction in separate containers; providing primary cleaning of each fraction and separating by density on pneumatic sorting table, with feeding, conveyance and separation procedures being effected in separate containers. Seed cleaning and drying line has precleaning machine equipped with screens and discharge devices for at least two seed fractions, container-type drier, primary cleaning machine, pneumatic sorting table positioned downstream of primary cleaning machine, and similar fraction transportation, drying and storage containers, which are made in the form of dosers-feeders. Line is further provided with rotary loading ramps arranged upstream of precleaning machine, primary cleaning machines and pneumatic sorting table and adapted for receiving containers or for unloading containers by means of conveyor device with special lifter. Method and line are used for post harvest treatment of sunflower seed. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved sunflower seed yield and reduced production cost. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
