FIELD: manufacture of articles of art. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting painting part from synthetic fabric on smooth rigid template; applying part to warp fabric, with intermediate layer of synthetic fabric having melting temperature below that of painting part fabric being preliminarily laid onto warp fabric; providing ironing from wrong side of warp or attaching painting part to warp in several points; shifting painting part edges to center; effectuating thermal pressing by periodically applying heated working tool for a short period of time along painting part outlines or in accordance with predetermined pattern by pressing painting part to warp till part fabric is molten in the place of joint; paint is applied by heated working tool. Another embodiment of method involves manufacturing of painting part from predetermined number of multicolored fabric layers, with painting being effectuated by cutting layer or painting part fabric. Third embodiment of method involves obtaining of painting by melting of synthetic fabric suspended over painting part or warp till embossed members of "drop" type are obtained.
