FIELD: aeronautical engineering; water loaders for fire seaplanes. SUBSTANCE: water loader includes water scoop located in shadow zone behind planning step; water is formed by cylindrical surface and two sector side members. Leading edge of sector side members and cylindrical surface of scoop have pointed areas and water line is provided with intake and outlet branch pipes. Provision is made for water scoop motion mechanism which locks it in extended and retracted positions switching-on the hydraulic cylinder arranged in pressurized compartment which is connected with intermediate axle mounted in intake branch pipe of water line by means of shear member through lever of bellcrank. Second lever is rigidly secured on axle articulated with rod which is articulated in its turn with sector side member of scoop. This mechanism is provided with tension spring mounted on lever of bell-cranks and union bush in which shear member is enclosed; shear member pressing-off unit is mounted on this bush. EFFECT: increased intensity of taking water due to reduced losses for forming water-intake jet. 4 dwg
