SUBSTANCE: lumbar belt includes a back of textile material, vertical pockets in the back with stiffeners placed in them, two sides with fasteners at the ends connected with the opposite ends of the back, a cord made of elastic jersey with a rubber interlayer and fasteners at its ends, attached middle to middle of the backrest on its outer surface. All belt fasteners are made of velcro textile pile fabric. Back and sides are edged. The hook element of the fastener is placed on the inner surface of the left side end, loop fastening elements are on the outer surface of the side ends, hook elements of the fastener are on the inner surface of the cord ends. All belt elements are made of intrinsically safe materials. Each left and right side of the cord is made with a length equal to the distance between the backrest center and the closest fastening element on the same side. Each pocket is formed by the outer surface of the backrest and a patch sewn to it, the width of which exceeds the stiffener width. The place of the cored middle attachment to the back is strengthened by an overlay sewn to the back along its entire height. The distance from the middle of the back to the nearest stiffener is at least three times the lining width.

EFFECT: expansion of the scope of possible lumbar belt application, excluding possible adverse effects on body tissues, increased occupational safety, simplified use and storage, reduced cost by simplifying the device design and making it from intrinsically safe materials, excluding its pressure on soft tissues over the spinous processes of lumbar vertebrae.
