FIELD: oil and gas industry, measurement of level of stratal and man-made fluids in boreholes. SUBSTANCE: device to indicate level of fluid in borehole includes hollow body housing hermetically sealed reed relay, mesh and float with built-in permanent magnet. Body and float are made of non-magnetic material. Body is made up of three parts of streamline shape uniaxially joined by means of threaded connections. Lower part is fitted with mesh at level of threaded connection. Center part is provided with two through radial holes as minimum. Float with permanent magnet built-in its upper part is placed with clearance inside and uniaxially to it. Upper part is equipped with transmitter manufactured from non-magnetic material located uniaxially to it between upper cut of center part and protrusion on body of upper part. It has axial non-through hole housing hermetically sealed reed relay connected by means of sliding contacts and wires passing through axial hole in fastening bolt to power supply source. Bolt is fabricated from non-magnetic material and is positioned in upper part. EFFECT: raised accuracy of obtained results and reliability of device indicating level of fluid in borehole. 1 dwg
