FIELD: chemical, petrochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: rotary pump is designed for handling highly toxic and poisonous materials. Pump has tubular base on which hose is laid in spiral. Freely rotating longitudinal pressing rollers are mounted over hose on rotating housing-rotor. Non-compressible liquid, for instance, water is pumped into inner space of housing-rotor and base surface. In process of rotation of housing-rotor, pressing rollers, running along hoses force handled material to discharge side, and rising pressure taken by noncompressible through walls of hoses holds hose body in compressed state within the limits of elastic deformation. No sealing devices are used in pump making it possible to use pump under any conditions of contamination. EFFECT: provision of high reliability. 3 dwg
