FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for servicing screw downhole motors and it is designed for application of lubricating (preservation) materials to friction surfaces of inner parts and units of screw downhole motors after testing of new and overhauled screw downhole motors. Method of preservation of screw downhole motors comes to removing water from motor spaces and application lubricating materials to inner parts of motor. Motor is secured in tilted position, and water is removed and from motor spaces and lubricating are applied to inner parts of motor under at automatically rotating motor housing relative to stationary rotor with provision of draining and collecting of water, delivering, draining, collecting and cleaning lubricating materials with possibility of forcing out water remnants by these materials.
EFFECT: increased productivity of labor, reduced consumption of lubricating materials, improved production efficiency.
