FIELD: recovery of radioactive and toxic wastes. SUBSTANCE: plant has plasma shaft furnace 1 with end-product discharge unit 2 incorporating two drain devices with intake containers 3; exhaust-gas afterburner 4 connected to filter 5 with its outlet communicating with end-product discharge unit 2. Filter 5 has interconnected high- and low-temperature metal sections and two discharge bins which are also connected to end-product discharge unit 2 of furnace. Filter 5 is connected in series with scrubber 5 and tank 7; the latter communicates with gas dump line 9 and through heat-transfer apparatus 8, with scrubber 6. EFFECT: reduced size of plant; improved quality of end products, enhanced capacity and reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
