FIELD: facilities for protecting human head human shock. SUBSTANCE: safety hat has case, internal equipment, and fastening for attaching equipment to case incorporating pockets located in case. Inserts with shock-absorbing members are installed in pockets and joined to internal equipment. Inserts have on their ends two bosses facing inner space of pockets; each boss is essentially asymmetric wedge with beveled external side; wedge top has bevel resting on pocket bottom with its upper point. Pocket bottom is trapezoidal- section concave surface. Bevel in top part of wedge is same as that of side edge of trapezium. EFFECT: simplified design of case-to-equipment fastening; improved absorbing functions. 3 cl, 2 dwg
