FIELD: equipment for protecting individual's head from impacts. SUBSTANCE: helmet has casing with internal fittings. Casing cupola is made in the form of cut-off ellipsoid upper part with cut-off front portion and is equipped with flat rigidity rib, which is made bifurcated in its occipital part to form triaxial power carcass with center in cupola apex. Carcass rests upon points of attachment of internal fittings to helmet casing. Rigidity rib shape is set by elliptical contours on side surfaces and by semi-elliptical contour in occipital part.
