FIELD: alcohol industry. SUBSTANCE: still has evaporating tank and steam-water jacket communicating with each other by means of bubbler and tube. The latter is deepened with its lower end to under water level in jacket not interfering with steam passage from evaporating tank to fractionating column, and effecting withdrawal of residue from fractionating column to jacket space to prevent dilution of still charge with water and to maintain water level in jacket by supply of residue. EFFECT: combined heating of charge with closed and open steam without use of special equipment for production of process steam and prevention of dilution of charge with water from live steam condensation to increase quality of produced alcohol. 1 dwg
