FIELD: alcohol production industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to production of food rectified alcohol and consists in the following. Alcohol is extracted by boiling from brew on the brew column while transferring ethyl alcohol with accompanied impurities into brew distillate together with vapor leaving the column. Brew distillate is freed of top and intermediate impurities, including fusel oil components, on epuration column operated according to hydroselection method. Thereafter, epurate is rectified on alcohol column wherein fractions of fusel oil, fusel alcohol, and non-pasteurized alcohol are recovered. Fractions of top and intermediate impurities of ethyl alcohol are distilled on distillation column. Epurate is concentrated, withdrawn from liquid phase of lower plates of boiling-extraction section of epuration column, and additionally purified from intermediate and tail impurities by way of withdrawing fusel oil fractions from vapor phase of plates 4-11 of distillation section of epuration column and discharging distillation water from the bottom of the column. Distillation column is heated with vapor from case vapor line of epuration column. Ethyl alcohol fraction is withdrawn from liquid phase of lower plates of distillation column and passed to feeding plate of epuration column. Bottom liquid from first distillation column is passed to the upper plate of epuration column. Fractions from condensers of rectification and methanol columns and from alcohol-trap for pure distillates are passed to feeding plate of additional column, from the condenser of which top impurities concentrate is discharged.
EFFECT: improved quality of rectified alcohol and reduced production expenses.
