FIELD: heat energy generation due to nuclear cold fusion reactions. SUBSTANCE: device has (a) first quantity MA of first solid material capable of absorbing hydrogen followed by heat energy generation; (b) second quantity CO of second solid material capable of emitting hydrogen at temperature higher than preset value which is at least partially in contact with first quantity MA; (c) third quantity ET of third solid material capable of generating heat energy when passing electric current which is placed so that it is thermally coupled with mentioned first (MA) and/or second (CO) quantity and also has at least first terminal T1 and second terminal T2 electrically connected to first (MA) and third (ET) quantity, respectively; first and third materials are of conducting or semiconducting type; quantities MA, ET are relatively positioned so that at least part of second quantity CO is exposed to electric field when first terminal T1 and second terminal T2 are connected to electric generator G1. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. 7 cl, 3 dwg
