FIELD: heat energy generation using cold nuclear fusion reactions. SUBSTANCE: device has substrate SUB and at least (a) first structure ST1 of first solid material capable of hydrogen absorption and heat energy generation which is applied to substrate SUB; (b) second structure ST2 of second solid material capable of hydrogen emission as soon as temperature rises above specified value; (c) third structure ST3 of third solid material capable of heat energy generation when electric current is passed through this material; this structure is placed so that it is thermally coupled with at least mentioned second structure ST2.
