SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method of direct voltage supply UIDC for traction building system C using converters 1, 2 operating with different alternating or direct voltages UACV, UDCV in supply line 9. Supply voltage to traction building system supply device is fed through first supply circuit 8A and second supply circuit 8B, both connected by one end with supply line 9. First supply circuit 8A can be connected by other end with primary winding 6 of power transformer 5 through switch 11A, and second supply circuit 8B can be connected by other end either with terminal of voltage supply to traction building system C, or to middle point 10 of series-connected converters 1, 2 by means of second switch 11B.
