FIELD: railway transport; rail vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to vehicles designed for carriage of cooled freights. Section has several cars, each containing one transportation platform for arrangement of chambers-storage consuming electric energy. Special devices are provided for connecting section with contact system or stationary power source, devices for transmitting electric energy under high voltage to each car, devices for stepping down voltage, and low-voltage power distributors. Electric train has one locomotive and several sections. Devices are arranged between adjacent sections for connection with high- voltage power supply network. EFFECT: provision of reliable supply of chambers - storage consuming power both in motion, from air contact system, and at standstill, from stationary power source. 17 cl, 3 dwg
