METHOD OF MOUNTING POWER TRANSMISSION LINE SUPPORT BY MEANS OF FLYING VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: devices in which lifting force is applied directly to surface of cargo. SUBSTANCE: method consists in hooking the power transmission line support lying ion the ground to helicopter and transporting it in vertical position to required area. Then, support is placed on ground between foundation and tractor equipped with winch. Two preventive ropes are secured to support; one rope is connected directly to tractor and other to winch and consequently its length may be changed in the course of mounting. After preliminary tension of both preventive ropes by motion of tractor and switching-on of winch, support is hoisted by helicopter and is transferred to foundation. In the course of motion, tension of preventive ropes is maintained due to coordinated motion of tractor and helicopter till hanging of support above foundation. Then, support is turned additionally due to change in length of second preventive rope till its shoes are matched with members of foundation, after which shoes get engageable with foundation due to descent of helicopter. After securing the support, helicopter is unhooked. EFFECT: reduction of dynamic loads on flying vehicle. 2 dwg
