FIELD: separators. SUBSTANCE: accommodated in vertical body with pipe unions of gas inlet and outlet pipes is swirler in the form of sleeve with spiral ribbings made on external surface consisting of one turn. Installed at end of turn is plate attached to turn surface and to surface of vertical generating line of sleeve with formation of partition. Swirler is installed in body so that plate-partition is located at level of pipe union of gas inlet pipe and displaced from its vertical axis through value of its internal radius R to side opposite to direction of turn. Swirler lower part has additional triangle flange with cut off vertexes over body inner diameter to form slots for gas passage, and central hole. Body may be made from a pipe. Due to this, velocity of incoming gas flow remains invariable in its passing round sleeve, over its full height which may be long enough. In this case, gas flow velocity under swirler is low and flow is more ordered. EFFECT: simplified process of separator manufacture due to gas tangential introduction by means of plate and inlet pipe union located nontangentially along axis; higher efficiency of gas cleaning. 2 cl, 3 dwg
