FIELD: chemical industry; oil-producing industry; natural gas industry; other industries; production of the vortex type gaseous separators.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended for trapping of the finely dispersed and aerosol liquid and solid particles from the gas flow and is used in petroleum, natural gas, chemical and other industries. The separator contains the vertical cylindrical body, the upper and the lower bottoms, the inlet, outlet and discharge fitting pipes, the deflector with the baffle plate, the separation package, the false bottom, and at least one horizontal plate slice fixed without the clearance on the internal wall of the separator body in area between the separation package and the body. At that one of the butts of the horizontal plate is located near to the outlet of the deflector and the plate itself is made in the form of the part of the ring. The width of the horizontal plate exceeds the width of the outlet of the deflector and is less than the spacing interval from the separation package to the body of the separator. The invention ensures the increase of the average curvilinear path of the gas-liquid stream round the separation package without enlargement of the external overall dimensions of the separator and the flow velocity at the outlet of the deflector (and, therefore, without of the increase of the hydraulic resistance of the deflector). It results in the increase of the time of action of the centrifugal forces on the particles of the indicated stream moving inside the separator, that facilitates the raise of the efficiency of separation in the area between the separation package and the separator body.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased time of action of the centrifugal forces on the particles of the indicated stream moving inside the separator and facilitates the raise of the efficiency of separation in the area between the separation package and the separator body.
