FIELD: methods for camouflage of troops and objects, applicable for simulation in radar wavelength band and protection against high-accuracy weapon of lengthy linear objects in winter conditions. SUBSTANCE: ice surface is cleaned of the snow cover and leveled, then longitudinal or lateral V-shaped furrows are made in the ice layer with an aperture angle of 90 deg., and a layer of conductive compound is applied onto the lateral surfaces of the furrows. The axes of symmetry of the furrows are positioned perpendicularly to the cleaned and leveled ice surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of camouflage and simulation of lengthy objects in winter conditions. 4 cl, 4 dwg
