FIELD: railway transport; chord setting of locomotive bogies in curved sections of track. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has operating mechanism in form of power cylinder hinge-coupled with bogie frame and body frame, and control system. Control system includes distributor, control unit, displacement measuring pickup installed on body frame, and power cylinder displacement pickup. Control unit containing track section plan is coupled with displacement measuring pickup and distributor connected with power cylinder. Displacement measuring pickup is made in form of recorder of distance covered by locomotive. Power cylinder rod displacement pickup is connected with rod, is rigidly secured on housing of power cylinder and is electrically coupled with control unit. Device provides timely setting of locomotive bogies in chord position in curves of different radius. EFFECT: reduced side wear of wheels and rails. 1 dwg
