FIELD: processing of industrial waste, more particularly preparation of foam glass in building materials industry as heat insulators. SUBSTANCE: at the end of process of wet grinding of initial components properties of the resulting suspension are stabilized by addition of flocculant in amount of 0.05-1 % of total weight of glass. After grinding operation, suspension is maintained under constant stirring and dried to powder having moisture content of 7-10%. After molding operation, powder is heat treatment at temperatures at first from 680 to 720 C and then from 740 to 850 C. EFFECT: complex processing of crushed glass of colored kinescopes of various grades. 7 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
