FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves suction, delivery and injection processes realized with increased fuel volume for pump working stroke approaching real nozzle operating conditions. Suction and delivery processes are carried out in mutually perpendicular directions. Fuel cut off process direction is axially aligned with suction direction and perpendicular to delivery direction. Injection chamber and suction chamber volume ratio is selected to be within the range of 1,000-10,000. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of nozzle testing. 4 cl, 3 dwg
