FIELD: removal of harmful gases and microorganisms out of air, water purifying and water treatment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes ozonizing chamber in the form of right prism having one pair of mutually opposite faces made of metal and connected with grounded terminal of high voltage nanosecond type power source and other pair of faces made of dielectric. In symmetry plane between grounded faces there is needle electrode connected with high voltage terminal of power source. Ends of needle electrode are secured to lateral dielectric faces with widespread surface. Electrodes may be hollow ones and they may be connected with cooling system by means of dielectric hose. EFFECT: increased yield of ozone, lowered specific power consumption, elimination of water treatment, simplified design of ozonizing chamber, of electrodes and cooling system. 3 cl, 1 dwg
