FIELD: tests of materials with use of optical means. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to determination of biological activity of substances having polymers in their structures. Proposed procedure includes transmission of light flux through layer of solution of tested substance, addition of electrolyte to this solution and measurement of value of flux of passed-through radiation. Optical density of electrolyte is set equal to optical density of solution of tested substance and biological activity of substance is evaluated by degree of change of value of flux of passed-through radiation. EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy, more complete information on properties of tested substance.
