METHOD AND COMPOUND FOR DETECTING ANALYTE PRESENCE USING MAGNITORELAXOMETRY TECHNIQUES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2176393 C2

FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves using ferromagnetic or ferromagnetic colloid particles as identifiable magnetic markers in immune methods and other binding methods for qualitatively and/or quantitatively detecting analyte presence in liquid and/or solid phases. Magnetization relaxation of the particles is treated as a value to be measured. Relaxation according to method after Broun is accomplished quicker as that according to method after Neel. Immunomagnetography is carried out by labeling substances with ferromagnetic or ferromagnetic colloid particles. Labeled substances having specified structure are introduced into living organism. Spatial area under study in organism is magnetized using magnetic field applied from outside. Magnetic relaxation of magnetic markers is measured using magnetic field sensory units after switching off the external field. EFFECT: high sensitivity in detecting analyte presence. 29 cl, 4 dwg
