FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves contact of a sample and a first binding molecule attached to a magnetic particle, either simultaneously or at different times; with a second binding molecule attached to a solid substrate. The first binding molecule is able to bind with the second binding molecule, while a target is able to inhibit such binding. A magnetic force is applied for the purpose of magnet particle displacement into a position in close proximity to the solid substrate. It is followed by detecting a number of the magnetic particles bound with the solid substrate by binding the first binding molecule with the second binding molecule, where said number of the magnetic particles is evaluated by binding a third binding molecule able for selective binding with the first binding molecule, with the first binding molecules attached to such magnetic particles that is followed by detecting the third binding molecules bound with such first binding molecules. Where the first binding molecules bound with such third binding molecule are the first binding molecules which are not involved in binding with the second binding molecule. The use of a magnet for applying the magnetic force for the purpose of magnet particle displacement into the position in close proximity to the solid substrate.

EFFECT: higher accuracy for detecting the presence or the absence of specific compounds.
