FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves laying cut plants at both sides so that eye part is overlapped in windrow center, with overlapping length being equal to doubled eye length; pressing and baling to form prismatic bole; cutting off middle eye part of bale and transporting for threshing. Continuous flow of bales is fed by dosing feeder into thresher after drying. Remaining part of plant is spread over field or transported with further usage as animal feed. Method allows threshing process to be intensified due to reduced share of straw part of plants. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 3 cl, 2 dwg
